So I was reading Bethany's diary, to find out how she felt about me. So what? I showed her my diary, with the stuff about our budding friendship and the mother's day project.
I'm feeling kind of bad about ditching Jennette/Rioshara now. I know what she's going through. But I didn't know what Bethany was going through with Gianna. And I'm feeling really bad about Justin... I know he's off-limits. Bethany's boyfriend. So... who's that leave me with? 

Gianna: She's ditched me and Bethany (AGAIN) for Valerie and Viary. We've got bad history there.
Jennette: I ditched her because she's Riosharapalin or whatever her name is.
Jessica: I don't exactly know her...
Lindsay: If I'm not with Jennette, I'm not with her.
Rose: Ditto.
Tessie: Double ditto.
Amber: She's being really nice lately, but... I don't think she actually wants to be friends, she just wants me to apologize to Jennette and Bethany so we can all be friends again.
Bethany: I got super-jealous of her because of Justin, and... yeah.
Justin: In my dreams.
Valerie: Not my type. She'd snob me.
Viary: She's already turned Jennette against me once. NO WAY.
Katari: She's an awesome person, but if Gianna can drag her into The Mean Popularity (TMP), she's a goner.
Isavle: They want her for TMP, but she's not that kind of person.
Mavine: Old movies? I can live. Better than fashion magazines...
Avana: Cute, spunky, sporty, but others call her immature. Personally, I like her.
Charlene: Klutzy nerd? No thanks. 

Well, I've named all the possibilities, and my best shots are Isavle, Mavine, and Avana. Of course, that means Charlene following us around, though. It'd be great if I could have Katari, too. So, it's great that I'm on the project with Mavine and Avana. Or I could apologize to Jennette/Riosharapopsicle...
Yeah. Like she'd accept it. She'd probably just turn her back. But... she's going through a lot as Riosharapoppyseed. Maybe she needs all the friends she can get.
But there is still the Bethany dilemma. Beth probably won't want to see my face back there. I know Amber wants me to apologize... it must be hard for her, Lindsay, Rose, and Tessie. They have to live with Jennette/Riosharaparty's dilemmas and help her out. I guess I owe Amber and the others...
I have made my decision. I am going to apologize. The worst that can happen is they completely ignore me.

I approach Bethany and Riosharapolingaliz (I think that's right) the next day. Beth gives me a look of dislike, but I start talking. "I'm sorry, Rioshara. I know you're going through a hard time, I don't think I was in the best mood the day you told me. You're welcome to stay at my house when your family has to leave. And Kiwi... I'm sorry. I get jealous about Justin sometimes. I think I like him as much as you do, but... I know... I'm really, really sorry."
Bethany (Oh, I guess I'll call her Kiwi now) and Rioshara (should I keep calling her Jennette?) stare at me. Then I know... It's too much. They probably won't be my friends again, but at least I apologized. As I walk away, I don't even hear Jen/Rioshara calling, "Sash, where're you going?
This is Rioshara now, but my friends are calling me Jennette in public.
I'm living with Kiwi now, so there's a lot going on. Meanwhile, we're rushing to finish our project. And... there's the popular girls.
They're not in Honors English, so they aren't doing the project on people relations. The popular girls are Trish, Kate, Addie, Claire, and Glacey. They've been making fun of Sash. Probably because she's not hanging with anyone to defend her. Plus they don't think Sashina is very cool.
Oh, don't worry. They don't just start in on Sasha. They have plenty of time to start on me, Kiwi, Lindsay, Rose, Amber, and Tessie.
"Hey, what kind of a name is Tessie? Were your parents four years old when they named you?" sneers Glacey at lunch. Personally I've always loved Tessie's original name. "Her name is Tessabelle. Tessie is just a nickname," retorts Kiwi. "Oh, sorry," replies Kate. "So it's Tessabelle's fault that her name is babyish."
Can we never win when having a conversation with "The Pops"? But Lindsay is already on it. "Oh, sorry," she says. "So does that mean it's bad to have a nickname? Should I start calling you Trishanne, Kathleen, Addeline, Clarabelle, and Glaciana?"
"They're better names than Tessie," shoots back Addie. Just like that, the Pops are gone. And somehow, they happened to win.
At science, the Pops are already there when we get there. "Did you forget?" screeches Claire. "Tea party celebration! For Ms. Vahn's engagement? You promised to help set up, Rose! And where's Amber?"
Suddenly, I realize Amber isn't there, even though all the girls in our year are supposed to come. Neither is Sashina. Suddenly the two girls rush in, laughing and talking. They get suddenly quiet when they see the table, all set with teacups, and all the girls already there. Sashina shrinks under the look of rage on the faces of Trish, Kate, Addie, Claire, and Glacey. "Sashina? Amber? Um, like, could anything be more irresponsible and immature?" Glacey says in an icy voice to Trish. She giggles. "Um, yeah?" says Trish. "Like, the party? And you guys are, like, you know, soo late?" Everything Trish says sounds like a question. Sashina looks helpless, but Amber steps to her defense. To be continued...
