When I was 12, where I had earned responsibilty, I learned how to manage my Pros and Flukes. Heck, that was when I learned what Pros and Flukes were!

Have you ever wondered why good, or bad, things happened?

Well, that was in the time when the Pros and Flukes ran wild.  When they decided who to give good fortune or horrible disasters to.  But don't be alarmed.  We have them under control.

You can't buy one for yourself.  Those are the rules so that those with good fortune would not be too lucky.  No, people had to buy them for you.  You couldn't ask for one, but people reward kindness with Pros. And cruelty with Flukes.

You could control when your Pros went off, but the Flukes could blow at any minute.  You just had to watch your step.

When this system was created, it was caous.  Everyone was trying to be sickly sweet to each other when you could see that they would rather be ripping your head off.  That is still how it is today.  People forging their personality into a foriegn person just so they can have a bit off good fortune.  But when I see fakers, I always make sure to send them a Fluke.  Their acting is so bad that they fool absolutely no one.  But some do do a decent job at acting.

If you ask me, I could care less.  Why would I act to get people to like me?  I will just stay myself and see if people like me.  If so, well then great, but if not, I own't lose any sleep.

Why, you ask?  Well, everyone who has earned responsability has their own electronic Pad that tells them how many Pros or Flukes they have.  Most kids wouldn't have thought of it, but I did.  I hacked into the network and made my own person.  If I ever need Pros, I just log in and send them to myself. Smart right? Though, I am pretty sure that the movie stars have already figured that one out. 

So my life is pretty content.  Get up in the morning, download my classes to my Pad, and chill out.  Pretty easy.  I just don't do much with other people.  It is not that I am antisocial, people just bore me too easily. 

But i feel like today is goingto be a lucky day.  So I activated three Pros to go off for today. 

Then I grabbed my jacket, Pad, and keys and drove into town.

I just have a good felling about today.
